I'm Brahim Bouine, Chief Technology Officer at Rafeeq, one of Qatar's leading delivery platforms. I lead a team of more than 45 engineers building and improving our web and mobile applications, and I'm responsible for cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP, supporting over 16 million orders a year with high availability and data integrity.
With 10+ years in e-commerce and delivery applications, I specialize in infrastructure management, network configuration, cybersecurity, scalability, and integrating AI and ML into real products, from delivery-route optimization to customer personalization and operational efficiency.
What I focus on
- Cloud infrastructure: designing and operating resilient, cost-efficient platforms on AWS and GCP.
- AI & ML in production: route optimization, personalization, and operational intelligence for delivery at scale.
- Team leadership: hiring, growing, and structuring engineering teams; agile delivery with Scrum; a culture of code review and ownership.
- Full-stack engineering: React Native, Angular, React.js, and Node.js, backed by carefully designed, high-performance databases.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Networks from ISET Gabès, Tunisia (2013–2016). Programming, networking, security, and entrepreneurship.
